White Mountains

Owned and operated by the White Mountain Apache Tribe, Hon-Dah Resort stands at the gateway to one of the world's best managed natural ecosystems. The pristine forests, wide savannahs, and woodlands of the Fort Apache Reservation are home to a variety of wildlife including world record trophy elk, black bear, cougar, javelina and turkey. Twenty-six sparkling lakes and 400 miles of trout streams beckon to the fisherman. Outdoor recreation is as diverse as our land, ranging from downhill and cross country skiing in winter to hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, camping, and rafting in summer.
